With TV band databases and equipment together on the FCC testing bench at last, Super Wi-Fi technology has take a big step forward. Reporter Stacey Higginbotham from GigaOm in Austin interviewed Carlson CEO Jim Carlson at the Super Wi-Fi demo with database provider, Telcordia, last week at the Super Wi-Fi Summit in Austin. Jim Carlson was happy to talk about the vast possibilities that TV white space technology has for rural broadband and to roll out Carlson's new improved RuralConnect Generation II-- which operates at four times the speed of Version I.
